All Souls Procession
November 7, 2010

Join us along 4th Ave tonight for the famous Tucson All Souls Procession! We will be spotted here and there dancing with the dead in the street, or on our moving float as part of the procession. Celebrate Tucson’s unique Dia de Los Muertos honoring our faithful departed.

Celtic Festival
November 7, 2010

A magical evening took place last night at Rillito Raceway Park as part of the Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games. There were vendors, arts, food, and family fun, and hopefully you didn’t miss out on the fire performance at the end of the night! Thanks to Elemental Artistry, four members of Flight School were invited to become a part of a Celtic tradition celebrating the harvest festival known as Samhain or Sauin. During this time of year, it is believed that the veil between the living and the dead becomes thin, and tradition honors those who have passed as well as asks for protection during the start of the darker, cooler portion of the year. Our performance featured fire dance, ribbon dance, juggling, acrobatics, and fire-breathing. We hope you enjoyed the show!

Come back soon for featured photos from the event, thanks to Dan Stein Photography.
